First Philly, when I hear that name I think determination and family. Whether it was in a synagogue or at this beautiful new building, we always felt like it was a huge family. The first day we started here September 8th, 2002. Everyone was new here kind of shy and timid. Then people started to come around I’m not sure if we made all of our friends that we still have today but I’m sure we made a lot. 2004 a new building a new start for most of us. This is the year we all started to make friends. Some old friends some new. Lots of memorable activities happened this year. Like the d.a.r.e. program (Drug abuse resistance education) and the take 5 nutrition a day program. All those activities were really fun, but it wasn’t till 5th grade where I had my greatest memory. 5th grade a time when we matured a lot! Our first year when we switched classes and our first big class trip. College Settlement Camp one of my favorite memories in First Philly. When we made most of our friends and just… really bonded with each other, all of the team builders we had to do. It was a time when we had to help each other and we still carry that ability to help each other today.
All the people that made this possible for us are the people that I thank for giving me the best school I could’ve possibly ended up in. Especially Mr.Santilli and Mrs.Clarke for making this all come together, and really making this a caring school community. As for Ms.Magargee and Mr.Knoecki I would like to say thank you from the center of my heart because without you I would have never learned the value of what it means to care for one another. Like Isabel Waxman said and I’m sure we can all relate “ It is indeed ironic that we spent most of our days waiting for graduation to come and yet, now we want nothing less then to stay.” Yes we’ve made so many friends over the years and it is hard to say goodbye but, we have to make new friends and eventually we’ll meet again some day.
I’m not sure what my future holds, actually I’m pretty sure no one knows but we will find out soon enough whether you’re a doctor a lawyer or a butler, we will always be able to say I went to school with that person, he/she was a good friend. Though we may not see all of the people we went to school with we will see a lot and like Orrin Hatch said “Graduation is not the end; it's the beginning.”

Memories
Whoa can't believe it so close to graduation but yet so far. My favorite memory from this school is our first big trip. College Settlement Camp, what a trip. When we made most of our friends we still talk to today. Some have come and gone some fond memories of them some sad, but we will never forget them, that's for sure. That trip really changed all of our lives and made us in to the people we are today. The team work we had to give. That is what teamwork and just caring for one another is all about. If you remember all of what happened there them it will be something you always remember for the rest of your life. The challenges we all received and the memories we all shared will be with us for the rest of our lives. The most memorable time was the challenge called The Wall. It was a 10 foot tall wall and we had to use a lot of teamwork for this.
The smallest people went first up the wall so people like me or Sandro. Followed by people like Sean or Joey wood followed by people like Ishmael and the last one up the wall was Thomas, and boy did he have a though time getting up the giant wall, but eventually he made it up and we completed the challenge. That is my most memorable memory.

Energy Drinks
Alright we all know the popular drinks like Rockstars Monsters and Red Bull. Yeah I know they taste good and give you energy we all love'em and like to drink them, but did you know they could be harming you health in more ways then one? I was reading the back of a Monster Energy drink can and something caught my eye guarana which is in a lot of energy drinks but something else caught my eye. Alcohol! I saw that on the back of the can and couldn't believe my eyes. Alcohol in energy drinks? A lot of people drink them and we drink them a lot to or at least I drink them a lot.
How could you put Alcohol in energy drinks?! I was kind of scared because parents don't know about this and kids are actually underage and drinking that is really low. You have to put alcohol in your drinks. That is why you feel kind of funny after you get done drinking what energy drink you have. Know don't get me wrong I drink them all the time and I will probably continue drinking them but to have the ingredients in such small letters that no one pays attention to that is just plain ignorant and wrong.

Live each day like your last.
Ya know I was thinking many people take life for granted and aren't greatful for the little things in life. I mean how many times have you actually walked down a street and stopped and just looked around at the magnificent world we live in and how far we have come. Skyscrapers Ipod touches, and all that woderful stuff but really have you ever just stopped to take it all in and just say, wow? Like people will be walking down the street millions of people pass you by each month and we all think nothing of it? I mean ya I do the same thing but the least we can do is just say hello and actually acknowledge the person for just one second for the individual they actually are.
Now no I'm not tryin to pull and hippie mumbo jumbo like (Love the earth hug trees.) No absouloutly not, that stuff is all kinda wierd, but next time you see someone just say hello and actually think about the world we live in.
Keepin it real
